Finally have some code that changes the synths on the Space Rock sound modules, based on the distance between Rocks.

Playing with Mozzi & XBee RSSI values to manipulate sound
Noise Generation. Playing with Mozzi & XBee RSSI values to manipulate sound. Note sound changes as RSSI feed connected to pin D5.
Milling around
The Space Rock shapes being CNC milled in PU foam for slush cast moulds.
Organised chaos
Trying to keep track of the small things.
Two Mozzi circuits playing together
Further casts in Jesmonite
More casting for the Space Rocks. Silicone moulds with Jesmonite and added white pigment, and then some slush casting.
Testing the XBees – at distance and enclosed
XBees turning on a red LED at 4 foot distance. I also tried this from one floor down and it still worked perfectly.
And testing them both inside Space Rock ‘shells’.
Space Rock enclosed speaker test
Testing the speaker inside a (one-half) Jesmonite Space Rock.
Space Rocks – first casts
A series of photos showing the first attempts at casting the Space Rocks in Jesmonite, along with some further 3D printed parts to hold the circuitry and electronics.
